Scenes from our Atlanta video production arrival in Kuwait, circa March 2003.  The location is a temporary military base in Kuwait City.

We realize that nobody from army public affairs iscoming to get us.  They dispatch us to another gianttent, barren but for plywood floors and a half-dozenguys asleep on cots. I’m with six other reporters / photogs– all but eddie arefrom the savannah area.  The troops we flew in withtook off in their humvees upon arrival.We sack out on the floor in the giant tent, about 1am.The previous night, I’d slept on the floor in a USAFterminal in england.
