My daughter got her first physician assistant job as soon as he got her first physician assistant certificate. There are others the she plans got get as soon as she can. The physician she works for says he will pay for any additional certificates she wants to get as long as she is willing to sign a contract to stay with him for a year once she gets the new certificate. She has a lot of certificates to pick from.

Some physician assistant certificates include Pediatrics, Ccommunity and Public Health, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Surgical Technique, Obstetrics and Gynecology. If she goes for all of them she will stay with doctor for a long time.
